UNITY…
Behold, HOW GOOD and HOW PLEASANT it is for brethren (sisters) to dwell together in UNITY! Psalm 133:1
To be God’s friend is to receive the responsibility of prayer and fasting. God has given us authority by which we may determine the destinies of nations and governments. He expects us to use our authority both for His Glory and for our own good. God shares His secrets with us and enlists our aid to bring to pass all that He has already set into motion.
As Christians, we are fully aware that atomic POWER is released through prayer and fasting. Prayer is powerful; but fasting with prayer is even more powerful. It can change not just our local meeting, but our region and our world.
We stand before the greatest door in history. This door will find the keys to the secrets of the heroes of FAITH before us. They shook their generations and they stood at one time, where we now stand. This door is fasting and prayer for one another. Simply put, prayer and fasting opens the wells for the continual watering of our cities with words of ‘BLESSING’ and for the calling forth and restoration of our inheritance.
‘Fasting and prayer is the atomic bomb or the hydrogen bomb, of all Christian discipline,’ says Bill Bright. History reveals that prayer and fasting has always preceded great interventions of God in our affairs. Revival history records the influence of prayer and fasting. Fasting and praying is God’s prescription for our morally decayed society.
Likewise, this is our hour. Now it’s our turn to do the same, thereby releasing the gushers of the blessings of unity, healing, and salvation. We will not be content until we see history changed!
That is why, in efforts to promote UNITY, first we want to come in agreement with God’s heart and realign ours and accept our purpose. In order to promote UNITY among leaders that will thus impact our region, nation, and world, we offer the following as a voluntary (minimum) commitment to leaders that are determined to see history changed in their city and state, beginning with their own commitments.
- PRAYER- ONCE A WEEK for Christians in Ministry/Business in our Region – by speaking ‘blessings’ over and calling out their name before the Lord.
FASTING- ONCE A MONTH for Leaders in Ministry/Business in our Region – by calling out their name before the Lord.
Do not listen to the lies that nothing will happen. God will reward every person who prays and fasts in faith. Perhaps you have never fasted before. Our purpose is to align our hearts with God’s heart. We are not trying to get something from God, but seeking to realign our hearts’ affection with His, by speaking blessings over, and fasting for other women in ministry / business, so that we are sincerely positioned to impact our region. Thus, our hearts will truly and humbly learn to respect and honor the Christ in one another and prayerfully bring the undeniable demonstrations of and prayerful results of true UNITY.
As Christians in Ministry/Business, we should already be fasting and praying. By voluntarily adding to our already established commitment to the Lord, it is believed that we will see a great well open up among leaders that even our sons and daughters will drink from in years to come.
That’s it!
Our choice is this: Do we prefer captivity under the territorial strongmen that hold influence over our cities, neighborhoods and our loved ones? Or will we pray and fast for other women leaders, until the curse of jealousy and criticism is removed and we see the wells of CHANGE and REVIVAL redug? By choosing apostolic methods, we will see apostolic results!
