Our Vision and Beliefs

Thank you for your interest in Throne Of His Glory Summit

This is a brief description of different aspects of our fellowship. Our church fellowship is only one of many that God is using to reach people in the last days. The kingdom of God is at hand, Jesus is coming soon and we are excited about that! We seek to glorify the Name of Jesus and help Him reach and minister to people. God uses different approaches to reach different  people. We are not talking about changing God’s word; We are talking about diversity of style or method.

  Our Vision

Serving people who want to know more about God,  becoming equipped  for God and going forth to minister with God, this is the training camp for you.

This church fellowship is not a ministry expecting you to stay long term but to be trained and move on if God so desires. We like to describe our ministry for example, being like one going off to college to learn and then move out into their career. We are not a college, our training is to enable believers without a cost to get from point A to point Z. When you finished training with this  ministry you will leave or remain with self-fulfillment, self accomplishment and direction in the will and destiny of God in and for you life.

Our Ministry BSM-Throne of His Glory  is a developing ministry, we develop people for God. We are a 501-3-C non-profit organization. There is a great need in the world to help people understand and know what there full potential should be.  In our assignment  from the Lord we know we are to help the world first find there way to Jesus and lead them into becoming a member of His Body, the Church. Secondly  help them to be placed in a local Church assembly for fellowship and Christian development.  In addition to other ministries, Throne Of His Glory is also such a place for development and Christian growth. However we believe in the Body of Christ Ministry, meaning every person who gets saved or rededicates their life back to God may not fit with this ministry and may fit best in another Local Assembly fellowship. We will help them find that place, because in that place God will help them to develop and grow up in Him.

“In today’s 21st Century ministry we exist  to exalt God,  to edify, encourage, equip the Body of Christ and  evangelize the world.”

Throne of  His Glory mission statement is: “To bring people to Jesus and membership in God's family,  to help the Christian develop a personal relationship with God in order to magnify God in all their life, to train them for maturity in Christ, and equip them for the work of ministry, so they can fulfill their mission and go into all the world, and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-15) Helping the Body of Christ find their place in the Body of Christ through Local Church Assemblies, Outreach Ministries, their own ministry, in everyday life, jobs, businesses and etc. We are not helping only with ministry membership equipping but universal Body of Christ equipping.

“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in  prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. “ (Rom 12:4-13 KJV) (I Corinthians 12:1-30)

 Our Beliefs

Beverly Smith Ministries-Throne of His Glory Summit accepts the Scriptures as the revealed Will of God, and all sufficient rules of faith and practices, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopts these Statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine. The list below is part of 33 sections which fully disclose how we believe in our by-laws. However, the items below will allow you to view the main beliefs of this ministry.

The Scripture Inspired.    The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2Tim. 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).

The One True Godhead.    The triune Godhead is comprised of three (3) separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity.  Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and The Holy Spirit.  Man, His Fall and Redemption.   (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

The Salvation of Man.      (a) Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind, (Psalms 103:3) being justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.  For by grace we are saved through faith.  "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness,   and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10).

(b) The Evidences of Salvation. The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation, is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16).  The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.  "And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us"    (1 John 3:23).

(c) Faith and Works.  Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however, our works will determine the rewards in eternity (Acts 16:3; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; Romans 14:10-12; and 2 Cor. 5:10).

The Promise of the Father.    All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church.  With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.  (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31)  This wonderful experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16;  15:7-9).

The Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The full consummation of the Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and services. (Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6; 6; 1:8).

The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission.  Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the first born, which are written, in Heaven. (Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

Total Prosperity.  (a)  Spiritual.   John 3:3,11;  2 Cor. 5:17-21;  Romans 10:9-10 b)  Mental.  2 Tim.  1:7;  Romans 12:2;  Isaiah 26:3. (c)  Physical  Isaiah 53:4,5;  Matt.  8:17;  1 Peter 2:24. (d)  Financial.  3 John 1:2;  Malachi  3:10-11;  Luke 6:38; 2 Cor. 9:6-10; Deut. 28:1-14. (e)  Social.   Proverbs 3:4

Blessed Hope.    Jesus is coming again to gather all His Saints to Heaven.  (1 Cor. 15:51-52;  1 Thess. 4:16-17;  and  2 Thess. 2:1).

We believe that water baptism is an essential and necessary part of the "doctrine of baptisms", (Hebrews 6:2), performed only upon repentant believers in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (which we believe to be the fulfillment of the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and for the remission of sin. (Acts 2:38)

We believe in the doctrine of the laying on of hands Acts 14:12; ACTS 13:1-3; II Timothy 1:6; Mark 16:16

We believe in the five-fold ministries given to the Church at the ascension of Jesus Christ and that they continue to be needed and should be expected today, that is, ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.  Working with these ministries will be appointed leadership consisting of elders, deacons, deaconesses, and the gifted men and women of the Church.  (Psalms 68:18; Ephesians 4:11-12; Philippians 1:1)

We believe in the New Testament order of church government, structure and worship.  Five fold ministries: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.  (Ephesians 4:11)  Elders (Titus 1:5-9; I Timothy 3:1-7)  Deacons (Acts 6:1-7; Philippians 1:1; I Timothy 3:8-13) Helpers, Administrators. (I Corinthians 12:28 - Amplified) And those able and appointed to lead in Music and Worship (I Chronicles 23:1-5). We believe in the practice of worship with one's total being as set forth in the Word of God.  (Acts 24:14; Ephesians 5:18-19; Psalms 150)

We believe in divine healing for the whole man.  Healing was obtained through the atonement in Christ's sacrificial death (I Peter 2:24-25; Isaiah 53:4-5). We believe in healing as practiced by the early church (Acts 4:30; 19:11; Romans 8:11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:14).

We believe that we are one body, being members of one another and that the basis of our fellowship is in Christ in the power of the Spirit.  (Ephesians 2:13-22; 4:3-6; I John 1:6-7)  We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ expressed as the church individual, the church local, and the church universal and invisible (all saints of all places and all times united together under one Lord).  As such, we believe the church to be more than just a building or a gathering of people.  It is a body living in relationship and harmony under the direction of the head, Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 6:15; II Corinthians 1:1; Romans 16:5; I Peter 2:4-5; Ephesians 2:19-22; I Corinthians 12:12-31; Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 4:11-16).  The local church is an expression of the community and fellowship of God.  (Matthew 16:13-20, 18:15-20; Acts 2:41-47; I Peter 4:17; I Timothy 3:15; Ephesians 2:19; I Peter 2:5; Acts 18:8; Romans 16:5, 10, 11; I Corinthians 1:11, 16; 16:15, 19; Philippians 4:22; Colossians a4:15; II Timothy 1:16; 4:19.) We believe that there shall be a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  (II Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1) We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, (Job 1:7; Matthew 4:1-11) and that he was defeated by Christ through His death, burial and resurrection at Calvary (Ephesians 1:19-23; Colossians 2:15) and that Christ has delegated His authority over all the works of Satan to His body the Church.  (Matthew 28:18-20)

We recognize and believe that the Church in these last days has been and is in a revival of restoration because much truth was lost from the Church during the medieval times (also known as the Dark Ages).   We maintain that God, in this hour is moving to restore the Church to the complete and full New Testament pattern, power and practice, but shall not be limited to just this.  We therefore shall examine all new doctrinal concepts in the light of the full revealed Word of God, and if they shall be found to be in harmony with the scriptures they shall be accepted, taught and practiced.  We believe that a complete revelation and truth of God is already written and contained in the scripture and that its progressive unfolding will only add to and not take from what God has already restored to the Church.  (Acts 3:21; 15:15; II Peter 1:20; Ephesians 3:1-6; Revelation 10:6-7)

We believe that the fearful, the unbelieving, the abominable, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.  (Revelation 21:8)
